Dear Juniors and Seniors:
 
Just Because Week is right around the corner, and it’s time to start making plans for Notorious Netters (volleyball competition for juniors and seniors) and Dirty Duckers (dodgeball competition for juniors and seniors). Just Because Week is from Monday, March 9, through Friday, March 13. Notorious Netters will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 10. Dirty Duckers will be at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 12. Both events will take place in the Homestead gyms. Listed below is more information about these annual events. Note the deadline to submit paperwork is Feb. 24.
 
Notorious Netters (volleyball):
Each team will have eight players. (Six on the court and two on the bench ready to sub.) Players must be juniors or seniors. It is OK to have a mixed team of juniors and seniors (e.g. five juniors and three seniors, etc.) Four players must be boys, and four players must be girls. You can have up to two coaches per team. This is optional. They must be juniors or seniors.
 
Dirty Duckers (dodgeball):
Your team must consist of six players: three boys and three girls. Players must be juniors or seniors. It is OK to have a mixed team of juniors and seniors (e.g. four juniors and two seniors, etc.) You can have up to two coaches per team. This is optional. They must be juniors or seniors.
 
If you and your friends would like to form a team for either Notorious Netters or Dirty Duckers, please pick up a packet in Señor Peeper’s class — Room A1027. The entry fee is $10 per person and $5 per coach. One person from each team will need to pick up the packet, which has all of the information we will need back from each player.
 
The deadline for the team captain to hand in everything for the entire team is 2:45 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24, to Señor Peeper in Room A1027. The team captain should hand in everything at the same time for the whole team. We cannot accept incomplete paperwork, and we cannot accept packets after the deadline.
 
Please remember that team names must be school appropriate. Submission of inappropriate or questionable team names will result in the team being disqualified from participating in the event.
