Applications Are Now Being Accepted
Applications are now open for the Southwest Education Advocates Class of 2025! We invite parents, employees, community members, and graduates who are passionate about supporting the students, teachers, and staff of Southwest Allen County Schools (SACS) to apply. If you believe in the mission, vision, and goals of SACS and want to use your voice to foster student success and strengthen community involvement, we encourage you to complete an online application available now through November 3. As a Southwest Education Advocate, you will gain insight into every aspect of the district’s daily operations. This includes, but is not limited to, academics, student services, business operations, transportation, and food services. This comprehensive exposure will lead to a deeper understanding of the district’s endeavors, its unique culture, and the wide range of educational excellence and opportunities that our district proudly offers.  

The Southwest Education Advocates Class of 2025 should be passionate about education and can commit to meeting on all eight dates listed below.
  • November 13, 2024 - 5:45 - 7:45 pm
  • December 18, 2024 - 5:45 - 7:45 pm
  • January 15, 2025 - 5:45 - 7:45 pm
  • February 19, 2025 - 9 - 11 am
  • March 19, 2025 - 9 am -12 pm
  • April 16, 2025 - 5:45 - 7:45 pm
  • May 14, 2025 - 5:45 - 7:45 pm
  • May 20, 2025 - 6 pm Graduation


Graduates of the Advocate program become collaborative partners in spreading SACS’ vision across the community, generating awareness, and supporting the district’s efforts to prepare today’s learners for tomorrow’s opportunities.

The Class of 2025 Southwest Education Advocates will be announced on November 6, 2024.
