Breaking ground. Building futures.

Yesterday (10.27.26), SACS administrators, Board of School Trustees members and students broke ground on our new Career and Technical Education Center, a place for ALL students to explore their interests, discover their strengths and turn their passions into possibilities.

Elementary and middle school students helped turn the first shovels of dirt, representing the future students who will benefit from the expanded opportunities this center will offer. The building is expected to be completed in August 2028.

Through hands-on learning, students will gain real-world skills, earn credits and certifications, and discover what they truly enjoy. No matter what their next step is, we want every student to graduate with meaningful options and the confidence to move forward.

With their shovels in the ground and their futures ahead of them, these students helped launch a new chapter of opportunity at SACS.
