Homestead Spartans Named National Merit Commended Scholars
The National Merit Scholarship Program is an annual academic competition. United States high school students enter the National Merit Scholarship Program by taking the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT®), which serves as an initial screen of over 1.3 million entrants each year.
Based on the results of that exam, students with outstanding scores are named Commended Scholars, in recognition of their exceptional ability and potential for academic success in college.
Homestead High School is pleased to announce the following Spartans have earned this elite designation:
Jaden Wong, Vishnu Vijayachandran, Griffin Scremin, Isaac Morrison, Sophia Gallucci, Regan Smith, and Samantha Specht
Congratulations!
