Homestead's Local 166 students recently had the opportunity to host their parents at their technical education program site. Students spent the evening showing their parents what they have been learning so far this semester. At the conclusion of the event, the group participated in a relay race. Parents had to complete several work-related tasks as directed by the students, without receiving any direct help. A great time was held by all.

Homestead is very proud of this program and of our students... a group that is taking advantage of very valuable training that will prepare them to go on to highly sought after post-secondary technical careers.
