Description:

National Honor Society is a prestigious, national organization, which honors excellence in Academics, Character, and Service. It meets as needed, sponsoring yearly school service projects.

Eligibility Requirements:

Student must have a 3.9 minimum Grade Point Average and confirmation by Homestead High School faculty in the areas of academics, community, service, and character

Time Commitment:

Monthly meetings, ongoing yearly service projects, and various volunteer opportunities

Procedure for Joining:

Invitation after approval by faculty and installation at a yearly formal ceremony, held in October or November

Activity Time Period:

Regular monthly after school meetings

Membership Limit:

Unlimited
