Description:

Members of the Dance Team compete around the state against other Indiana High School teams. These groups are involved in some outside community performances and a spring recital, showcasing original choreography.

Eligibility Requirement:

Any student in grades 9-12 is eligible to audition for these groups.

Time Commitment:

Varsity Dance requires registration in the Dance III and 2-3 after school rehearsals per week. Junior Varsity members have 2-3 after school rehearsals per week and are required to register for Dance II, Fall and Spring Semester. Saturday competitions for both teams take place from December to March.

Procedure for Joining:

Both dance teams compete throughout Indiana. Dancers are required to audition in the spring of the previous year.

Activity Time Period:

Rehearsals begin in the summer and continue through April.
