2017 Summer Reading Program

Homestead High School's Summer Reading Program

The Homestead High School (HHS) Summer Reading program is designed to connect students with an engaging, entertaining and enriching reading experience. Encouraging our Spartans to read over the summer is one of the many ways we are preparing our students for academic excellence while fostering a life-long love of reading.

Summer is a wonderful time for students to discover and develop individual reading interests. The HHS Summer Reading Program continues to offer students the opportunity to self-select books from lists of suggested titles/genres developed for the student's 2017-2018 grade level and Language Arts course.

Further instructions for the Summer Reading Program, as well as the class specific book lists and assignments can be found below. Readers should click on the course/grade they will enter at the beginning of the 2017-2018 school year for more information.
